Dr. Charles Turner
 Dr. Charles J. Turner is a therapeutically licensed Optometrist, which allows him to treat eye infections and diseases of the eye, as well as prescribe glasses and contact lenses. Dr. Turner is Daniel Island 's first Optometrist, a distinction for which Dr. Turner and his office is very proud of.
Dr. Turner graduated with a B.S. in Biology from Virginia Tech, and received his Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana University .
Dr. Turner completed internships at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, MS, Montrose Veterans Hospital in Montrose, NY, Huntington Veterans Hospital in Huntington, WV, and IU School of Optometry in Bloomington, IN.
Dr. Turner's unique blend of internship experience has allowed him to treat premature infants through aging eyes in elderly adults.
A big proponent of children's care, Dr. Turner is a member of InfantSEE, which allows free eye exams for children under the age of 1, and routinely performs eye screenings at local academies and elementary schools.
At the other end of the spectrum, Dr. Turner also spends 1 day per week at local nursing homes, caring for elderly adults that are not able to leave the nursing home for optometric care.
Dr. Turner is a member of the Daniel Island Professional Group, Head of the Business Development Committee for the Daniel Island Business Association, member of the Charleston Chamber of Commerce, member of the South Carolina Optometric Association, member American Optometric Association, member of the Charleston Chapters of the Virginia Tech and Indiana Alumni Associations.

After a career in International Sales, Marketing and Finance, Greg lends his customer service experience to the front desk at the practice. He is there to assist patients in their insurance programs, provide time managed scheduling and assist patients with their frame and lens selection from our gallery. 
Ginny Fletcher is our Head Optician at Island Eye Care. She is from Jacksonville, NC, where she met her husband, Chris. They moved to the Charleston area in June of 2006 after she graduated from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio. After dealing with the snow for four years she decided the beach is where she needs to be. With a degree in Marketing, she has a keen eye for fashion and what's going on in today's market place.
Courtney Gaff comes to us from Michigan and has been living in the Charleston area for 4 years now. She is our Marketing Coordinator and Optical Technician. Her background consists of graphic design and fine arts which she studied at College for Creative Studies in Detroit, MI. She has worked on various marketing projects for a well known banquet hall and conference center in MI as well as several art galleries in Michigan and Charleston. Though she misses her home state, she is glad to be in the warmth with beautiful beaches only minutes away!
