Island Eye Care offers complete eye exams for the whole family. Dr. Turner received specialized training to examine newborns, children, and adults. His experience extends from routine exams for eyeglasses or contact lenses to specialized exams for specific eye problems.

Dr. Turner uses the latest in refractive equipment to find the exact prescription that gives you the clearest and crispest vision. Dr. Turner will then discuss all options for your individual visual needs including recommendations for contact lenses, glasses, no-line bifocals, reading and computer options, or refractive surgery.

The 2nd part of our exams is to check your ocular health and examine the vision you will have well into the future. Many conditions that affect the body can affect vision including high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, cancer, and many more. Dr. Turner will thoroughly examine your eye health including tests for Glaucoma, Cataracts, and Macular Degeneration. Not only will Dr. Turner examine your ocular health, but YOU the patient will also get a chance to see your own Retina with a full explanation of your eyes.
